Emerging Leaders Conference

*Emerging Leaders Conference is postponed until Fall 2020. We'll keep you updated on our new date. Thank you.

It's that time again!! GEMS' Survivor Leadership Institute and Resource Center is excited to announce the 2020 Emerging Leaders Conference!  This year, we will be in Atlanta, Georgia.  In 2019, just over 120 survivors from across the country, (as well as Canada and Mexico!) came together for an incredible four days of learning, sharing, and connecting. It was the largest gathering of survivors in the country to date, and this year we're thrilled to announce that for 2020, we are opening the conference up to 175 participants!

The annual Emerging Leaders Conference is a unique conference and a transformative experience. It's the only survivor-led national conference for survivors created to support survivor leadership and strengthen survivors' professional development and build community and connections among survivors across the country.  Over the course of four days, the conference will provide educational sessions and networking opportunities to promote professional and career goals as well as support personal growth. In addition to a full schedule of workshops, panels and speakers, there will also be supplementary self-care groups and activities, such as yoga, spiritual support, and art and massage therapy. There will also be meals and downtime where participants will be able to connect with old and new friends and enjoy the amazing community of survivors that ELC brings together.
