Everyday Needs Items
When our girls leave the life, they often leave with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Basic Needs donations help make sure that our GEMS girls have what they need on a day-to-day basis for themselves and their children.
Below are some items GEMS girls can always use. We ask that the clothing, household, basic care, and undergarment donations be new and unopened.

Please contact our Development department at Development@gems-girls.org for our current clothing and personal items needs or more information on how to make an In-Kind donation. Please fill out the following In-Kind Donation Form and include when sending or dropping off your package(s).
Crisis Bags
Crisis Bags are filled with basic necessities that we give our girls when they make a rapid exit from the life. If you would like to put together Crisis bags, the following items meet the most urgent needs. They’re generally donated as complete kits and are often donated in bulk (25 or 50 packs).
The bags should consist of:
A book bag or backpack (ideally with a small lock)
Sweatpants or leggings
Sweatshirts
Underwear and sports bra
Please note that items should be made up of new items, and most clothing should be in size M-XXL and 0-16.
